About Lia
Lia Lions is a galactic-hearted cat guardian, wisdom keeper, and soulful creator on a mission to bridge Earth and the stars. Rooted in Michigan but cosmically connected, she channels Sirian light codes, feline consciousness, and Earth magick into every area of her life, especially her private cat sanctuary, Lia’s Little Lions, where each rescued cat becomes a master teacher and sacred ally.
Lia has always felt a deep connection to the stars, the mysteries of consciousness, and the vastness of the galactic realms. For her, that connection isn't about escaping Earth, it’s about bringing a little more of that expansive perspective into everyday life. She finds her grounding in the simple, beautiful things: preparing nourishing organic food, cooking and baking from scratch, creating a healthy and natural lifestyle, spending quiet time in nature, and making space for rest, self-care, and reflection.
Much of her deepest wisdom also comes through her connection with animals, especially the cats who share her life. What began as a love for her own adopted cats has grown into her private sanctuary as a home to more than 20 beloved feline companions. Between caring for her feline family, supporting cats in need, following intuitive threads, and exploring the mysteries of the cosmos, Lia is continually finding ways to weave the stars and the Earth together. For her, the magic is in the integration: looking toward the stars while keeping her feet firmly planted here on Earth. 🐾✨🦁
My Journey
The cats have been part of my story for many lifetimes. In this one, it all began with Kitty, my first cat, who unexpectedly entered my life in 2019 during a chapter of deep healing and transformation. I could not have known then just how profoundly that tiny precious kitten would change the direction of my life.
Since then, thousands of cats have crossed my path, and each has left something behind: a lesson, a connection, a challenge, a healing, or simply a reminder to slow down and listen. The cats have become some of my greatest teachers and healers, showing me the power of presence, trust, resilience, unconditional love, and simply being exactly who you are.
What began with one little rescue has now grown into Lia's Little Lions: a sanctuary, a rescue and TNR journey, a community resource, and a space for intuitive connection between humans and animals. Along the way, my relationship with cats has also opened the door to a deeper exploration of intuition, consciousness, and my own connection to the unseen and the greater mysteries of life.
Today, my work lives at the intersection of all of these things: caring for cats, helping people understand them, listening intuitively, supporting rescue efforts, and creating space for deeper connection. I believe every cat deserves to be seen as an individual, treated with compassion and respect, and given the opportunity to be understood.
The cats have taught me that sometimes the most profound wisdom doesn't arrive with words. Sometimes it has four paws, a loud purr, an attitude problem, and absolutely no intention of doing what you thought it would. 🐾
The cats are still teaching. I'm still learning. And the journey continues. ✨🦁
Experience & Training
Thousands of Cats Helped
Since 2020, Lia has helped and rescued thousands of cats through adoption, TNR, rescue work, fostering, community support and hundreds of volunteer hours with local rescues and shelters. Every single cat has left an imprint on her heart, and the profound connections she has shared with these individual souls continue to fuel her commitment to helping the next one in need.
Community TNR Experience
Lia has successfully completed full-colony TNR projects for 8 local feral cat colonies of varying sizes throughout Jackson and Hillsdale counties. Working with feral cats can be both deeply challenging and profoundly rewarding, requiring patience, compassion, and trust—not only with the cats themselves, but with the caregivers and communities who help support them. Each TNR journey becomes an opportunity to build relationships, create safer environments, and honor these cats exactly as they are.
Certified Holistic Cat Practitioner & Cat Communicatior
Lia is a Certified Holistic Cat Practitioner and Animal Communicator, completing her training and certification in 2024 through Sylvie Sterling (www.sylviesterling.com). This work deepened Lia’s understanding of the many layers of connection between cats and their humans, integrating intuitive animal communication with a holistic perspective on overall feline wellbeing.
Through this training and her continued experience with cats, Lia has developed a unique approach that honors each animal as an individual—listening not only to their behaviors and physical needs, but also to the subtle ways they communicate, connect, and express themselves. Her work continues to evolve through every cat she meets, both within the sanctuary and beyond. 🐾✨
